We cater to bow hunters and have a special deer muzzleloader hunt for a few hunters. Bow hunters can also get a bonus hunt for fall gobblers. A spring bow and shotgun gobbler hunt is also available.

Primitive camping is available at no cost with electricity furnished. You can also make arrangements at a nearby homes, guest houses, bed and breakfasts or motels that are very reasonable, the closest being 4 miles away. Local eating facilities can be found as close as 8 mile away from Deer Ridge Acres.

No trophy fee is accessed for getting "The Big One". We encourage you to shoot a mature buck or doe and leave the small ones for next year. No fawns please. To help manage the quality of our bucks, a 130 class buck is the minimum that we ask you shoot. Hunters are required to report to the management all wounded and killed deer and any dead deer that you may find in the field.

Due to limited Non-Resident deer permits and limited openings, down payments are non-refundable unless you are replaced by another hunter with the approval of the management.
